After meeting Andre and working with him for a very short space of time, I learnt that I had so much wrong. I was using the old adage of “no pain no gain” and fuelling the body with carbs on the basis that we needed to fuel the body for endurance.
I quickly learnt the importance of sleep, stress, diet and training. I have more energy, I train better, I recover almost immediately and I don’t get injured. My performances have improved out of sight. All with training smarter and learning about the heart.
After training with Andre for 3 months, I had improved my previous half marathon time (5 years earlier) by over ten minutes.
