My good friend has been coached by Andre for a few years and looks amazing. Her husband, also coached by Andre, looks incredible. They inspired me to get in touch with Andre.I was a constant weight for multiple years, however, over the past two years I started developing some bad eating habits and along with retiring from work and routine exercise, my weight slowly crept up. I could see it in my face and feel it in my clothes and I was not happy. I was attempting to manage this weight gain on my own, but without any result. I needed to nip-it-in-the-bud before it got out of hand. I wanted to be held accountable.Andre started with the nitty gritty by asking about my eating habits, sleep routine, toilet routine (yes, how many times did I poo per day 😊) and exercise. Once we established some of the things that needed to change, it was down to business. He set me up on ‘cronometer’, the all-in-one monitoring App, mailed me a very interesting book ‘eat well or die slowly’ by Dr Estrelita van Rensburg and Issy Warrack, some sample ‘Sodii’ electrolytes and his gut health supplements.My goal was to drop 4kg over the next 12 weeks. Not much to lose, but difficult as an aging woman. I had to record my food intake and make changes by cutting out the carbs and increasing protein.Andre had access to my cronometer account, so he could monitor my daily food intake and activities. We met once a week, online, at a time suitable for both of us to discuss the week gone. Andre often asked the difficult questions and challenged me on my answers. This assisted me to think about my goals and about my achievements. When I wasn’t seeing the results as quickly as I’d hoped, Andre provided me with reassurance, and encouragement that I really needed. He opened my mind to misconceptions I have had about food and he also gave me fantastic tips, tools and suggestions. Andre always made himself available if or when I needed to get in touch with a question. He provided me with informative podcasts, posts and challenges.I’ve come to the end of my twelve weeks. I feel amazing, I sleep better, I look better in the mirror and have dropped a few kilos. My progress is slow, but I am determined to continue my new eating habits and routine for the benefit of my body.Thanks Andre.
