TOP 10* GLOBAL HEALTH COACH (*PRIMAL HEALTH)

I have been working with Andre for just over a year before entering and completing the Geelong 70.3 ironman, and Andre has helped me on so many levels that I have hugely appreciative of.  As like most triathletes we tend to be hard charging type A personalities where it’s all, or nothing. The biggest improvement to myself working with Andre has been his ability to reason with me that there is a time and place for an all or nothing approach but sometimes that is not the case.

I was a person that would read and follow people on the internet about the best and latest dietary improvements that could be made to improve your triathlon time.  I would follow this with regards to Ketogenic diets, carnivore diets, fasting and eating one meal a day. This left me feeling good with day to day living if I had to do no training, but working with Andre got me to realise and get out of my own head and step back and really think about what I was doing and was this beneficial to my training and race preparation.  Now after working with Andre I don’t class my eating habits as anything other than fuelling for the work required in my training schedule. I have seen great improvements with this approach in both my training and my day to day life.

I love the fact that Andre listens to your life stresses and modifies your training to that and understands that this is meant to be a hobby and enjoyable.  Andre regularly makes contact to see how you're feeling, sleeping and how your stress levels are going.

This all help greatly with a very enjoyable and stress free 70.3 race in Geelong.  I had the privilege to race at the same race as Andre in Geelong and that was hugely beneficial in how he approached the race both mentally and physically.  I normally worry greatly about the swim but in Geelong Andre and I met up and did a swim the morning before which greatly improved and reduced my race day nerves.

If you are on the fence in either working with Andre as a triathlon coach or a life coach, I have found benefits in both areas working with Andre and am greatly appreciative and am looking forward to another year of working with him.

I have been working with Andre for around 6 months. Initially I was very interested on low carb eating especially for endurance training and improving my overall health. However I soon learnt how passionate Andre was about endurance coaching and a holistic approach to Ironman training, this resonated strongly with me.

His enormous care for his athletes is wonderful. He took into account my full life and worked a sensible but challenging program so that I could get stronger and improve my competition times. Which I have.  Andre listened to my needs and together we made the program work. I really have enjoyed working with Andre. It is great that he too competes in these events so he really understands the physical and mental aspect of Ironman.

I have had the pleasure working with Andre during the last 3 months. I was really stuck in a rut and got caught on the conventional wisdom treadmill. I desperately wanted to increase my energy and lose some unwanted kilos. So I did what I thought was “right”. I ran harder, rode further pushing myself to fatigue and then ate more and pressed repeat! Sadly I was feeling more tired than ever and my weight didn’t reduce on the scales. In fact it went up...WHAT!!!

Then Andre appeared and changed my entire mindset (& my life) with his approach to health and fitness. He showed me how I could lose weight without putting myself through a painful exercise routine. In fact I lost a little over 8 kilos without any formal exercise routine and it was effortless.

I stopped feeling hungry 24/7 and Andre with his world class knowledge educated me that weight loss is not about how hard you push while exercising rather it is more about the right food choices and managing stress levels.

Andre listens to you intently and then provides you with the right tools to help you achieve your goals.

If you are looking for a coach who will care about you and is just as committed in helping you achieve your goal as you are then you MUST speak with Andre.

It often appears difficult to fit in "effective" exercise In a world full of distractions - where everyone is seemingly time poor. Andres approach to individual, structured workouts are tailored to personal goals. Andre listens to your needs and invests his time into designing a program that will be successful.
He then educates you on how to incorporate the program into your weekly routine. With a young family and running a small business his structured effective workouts were the key to moving away from the plateau that I always seemed to get back to.
It has been a privilege working with Andre and tapping into his wealth of knowledge around fitness, nutrition and life balance. His guidance makes the process easy and the journey rewarding.

I contacted with Andre around 6 weeks ago, feeling fatigue, couldn’t sleep & there were times when I needed sleeping tablets. I felt uncomfortable & bloated. I have been long distance runner last 5 years and always training for something & tried to figure out how to stay lean & still have energy to run.

Carb loading & all kind of diets were my usual approach. Often my son asked at the dinner table “ mum are you eating tonight”

After meeting Andre we changed few of my eating habits & corrected the menu. I started notice the change about 7 days in - I slept 8 hrs straight !!! I didn’t feel bloated & didn’t think constantly of food ... thank you getting me on track Andre!

The catalyst for my decision to work with Andre was my (rapidly) declining performance on the hockey field.  I am certainly no superstar but I was now finding myself extremely frustrated with my inability to play like I knew I could. I set a measurable goal of making the Australian over 50 team to compete in the Masters World Cup in 2020. This is a team I had made the reserve list for previously but had not been selected at all in 2018.

I started working with Andre after many years of trying to reduce weight myself.  I had used the advice from various books and programs but had not achieved or maintained the results I wanted.  I decided to get a coach to help – probably should have been an obvious decision considering a hockey coach myself and regularly endorse the benefit of coaching to improve performance.

Andre was clear and concise with his advice and always extremely positive. We over-achieved my weight loss goals and was able to start some physical training to complement my preparation for the Australian Masters Hockey Championships.  I started at 86.4kg in July and travelled to Perth in late September at 76kg.  Suffice to say, my performance was enough to gain selection back into the squad.  While there is still work to be done to make the team I am on track and armed with the knowledge to achieve it.

The only disappointing aspect of the experience was the simplicity of the advice and my frustration with how long I had procrastinated before speaking with Andre.  The unexpected up-side was my wife’s involvement and subsequent loss of weight too – and she was less disciplined than me!  We are bth off to do more clothes shopping so make sure you budget for that.
